CHEM 103 Fundamentals of Chemistry
This course teaches the fundamentals of inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. It is intended for non-science majors and nursing students. Topics include measurement, matter, energy, atomic theory, ionic and covalent compounds, mole-gram conversions, chemical reactions and equations, states of matter, solutions and their properties, acids, bases, pH, organic compounds, and biological applications. Three hours of lecture.
