POLSC 492 Service Learning Experience
This legislative internship allows a junior or senior student to apply skills learned through classes and other experiences where he/she works directly with the Tennessee General Assembly. An internship is not part of an academic course, but is the academic course. It is designed to give the student practical career related experience in an organizational setting that is appropriate for their career interest. Supervision is coordinated with the Office of Career Services and Internships and a faculty sponsor as well as a field supervisor. Credit earned depends upon the nature of the projects undertaken and the duration of the experience.
