Graduation Waiver

Students at the Lebanon and Mt. Juliet locations who graduate in May are required to participate in Commencement exercises. However, those students who wish to waive that requirement may complete an Academic Appeal Form and turn it in to the Office of the Registrar or complete the form online at http://www.cumberland.edu/commencement/Attendance_waiver, advisor and Deans' signature is not required for this type of appeal. Consideration will be given to special circumstances and you will be notified in writing of the outcome of your appeal. The graduation fee is mandatory, whether or not you participate in Commencement exercises.
