BIO 265 Biostatistics

This course is designed to familiarize the science majors with an introduction to experimental design and hypothesis testing for natural science research. Students will be exposed to various methods of statistical tests including general linear models, generalized linear models, analysis of variance, chi-square tests, and non parametric statistics. Additionally, students will gain an ability to analyze data using R, a statistical programming language. Special emphasis will be placed on the communication of statistical results from scientific research. Fee: $35.00
