EXSS 436 Exercise for Special Populations

This course is specifically designed to provide candidates with the knowledge and understanding of assessing and developing physical activity and exercise programs for special populations (e.g., children, aging, geriatrics, pregnant, and individuals with various diseases and/or comorbidities). Emphasis will be placed on evidence-based position statements from reputable health and fitness organizations (e.g., WHO, CDC, AMA, NATA, APTA, ACSM, NSCA).
