NUR 371 Adult Health Nursing I
Provides a theoretical basis for responding to chronic, acute, and complex health patterns as well as specific pathophysiological processes basic to teaching/learning principles for nursing practice. Focus on application of the nursing process to meet the physiological and psychosocial needs of adults in various degrees of wellness and from varying cultural backgrounds. Continued development of communication skills, professional development, ethical/legal, and economic issues. Three classroom hours and three clinical hours per week. Fee: $250.00. Course will expire after teach-out based on new 2020-2021 curriculum change, last expected offering Fall 2020. Fees: $245.00 testing fee and $50 laboratory fee.
