Policy Provisions
1. Establishing Greek Organizations
The University invites all fraternities and sororities to look at Cumberland University as a possible expansion site for their organization. The Cumberland Panhellenic Council will follow National Panhellenic Guidelines with regard to expansion of the NPC. The first contact should be made through the Director of Greek Affairs, and arrangements for campus visits and student interest inquiries. If a group of students wish to establish additional fraternities and sororities at Cumberland, the Director of Greek Affairs should be contacted for advisement and direction. Expansion will only be granted based on the needs of the campus community, student interest and eligibility, and the support of a national headquarters.
