TELE 004 Tower Climbing Fundamentals
Introduces the student to the safety equipment and various climbing components and scenarios encountered in the communication industry. Topics consist of carious real-world climbing scenarios and the basic climbing techniques and equipment associated with safe ascent and descent; Self Retracting Lifelines (SRL), controlled descent and other advanced climbing techniques are performed; rigging and hoisting techniques required in the communication industry including both tag line and capstan operations. 40 Clock Hours
