MU 461 Italian Diction for Singers

Required for vocalists in the Music Major with Emphasis in Performance. Taken concurrently with private applied voice lessons during one semester. A detailed study of the specific demands of Italian diction for singers. Emphasis on development of pure Italian vowels and a legato vocal line. Most, if not all, of the repertoire studied will be in Italian.
