1. Overview

This document represents the current guidelines for clinical policies and procedures adhered to by the staff members of the CU Counseling Center. It is recognized that there will always be the need to make exceptions in deference to sound clinical judgment. However, the general expectation is that staff will seek consultation, most often through peer review, before making decisions that deviate from these guidelines.
