2016 Undergraduate Catalog

PSY 499 Internship in Psychology

The Internship in Psychology allows a junior or senior student to apply skills learned through classes and other experiences where he/she has to work directly under the employer (such as either public or private agencies that serve clients or situations that increase research skills). An internship is not part of an academic course, but is the academic course. It is designed to give the student practical career related experience in an organizational setting that is appropriate for their career interest.  Supervision is coordinated with the Office of Career Services and Internships and a faculty sponsor.
