Liberal Arts

The Liberal Arts emphasis is designed to include a broad range of courses in the disciplines, skills, and cultural and a life well lived. Successful students in Interdisciplinary Studies w/emphasis in Liberal Arts will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Requirements for Interdisciplinary Studies - 30 hours

Students must choose one upper level course from EACH of the following:

ECON - Economics
ART - Fine Arts

MATH - Mathematics
PSY - Psychology
Sciences (BIO, CHEM, or PHY)
SOC - Sociology

Students must earn a "C" or higher in requirements for Interdisciplinary Studies.

Specific Disciplinary emphasis - 21 hours

Choose sufficient courses from disciplinary emphasis to total 21 hours. At least 9 of those hours must be 300-400 level. For example:

BUA - Business

HPER - Health & Human Performance
ENG - English
ED - Education
HIS - History

Students must earn a "C" or higher in emphasis requirements.

Required for Interdisciplinary Studies - 12 hours
