Students must earn a "C" or higher in
ONL 212.
Rhetoric and Communication - 9 hours
Mathematics - 3-4 hours
Arts and Humanities - 3 hours
Cannot use a studio art course.
Literature - 3 hours
Any college level literature course.
Social Science - 6 hours
Students must earn a grade of "C" or higher in
CRJ 111.
AND Choose one of the following:
History - 6 hours
Choose two:
HIS 191 | World Civilization to 1500 | 3 |
HIS 192 | World Civilization since 1500 | 3 |
HIS 201 | History of the United States I | 3 |
HIS 202 | History of the United States II | 3 |
Any World, U.S., or Global History courses. State History courses do not meet this requirement. No Sequence required.
Natural Sciences - 3 hours
No lab required.
FCJS Core Requirements - 6 hours
Students must earn a "C" or higher in all Criminal Justice core courses.
Emphasis I: Forensics Courses - 24 hours
Post Credit available for State Law Enforcement Academy Graduates. Potential Post Credits for
CRJ 211,
CRJ 210,
CRJ 329,
CRJ 410 and
CRJ 433. Post credits are considered on an individual basis and are not guaranteed.
Students must earn a "C" or higher in all Forensics Course requirements. For the Forensics emphasis area, you must choose the Criminal Profiling Special Topics course for
CRJ 498.
