MU 463 French Diction for Singers

Required for vocalists in the Music Major with Emphasis in Performance. Taken concurrently with private applied voice lessons during one semester. A detailed study of the specific demands of French diction for singers. Emphasis on mastery of French vowels and nasal consonants within a legato vocal line. Most, if not all, of the repertoire studied will be in French.
