ENG 218 Children and Adolescent Literature

A survey of multicultural literature for children and adolescents based on wide reading in the field. Includes storytelling, mimetics, and exposure to all genres. The purpose of this course is to provide an overview of literature for children and adolescents and to examine the various methodologies for understanding, evaluating, and promoting the use of literature in contexts including but not limited to P-12 schools.
