HIS 225 Introduction to Historical Methods

This writing- and reading-intensive seminar course focuses on teaching students the skills that are essential to understanding the historical perspective, including critical reading of historical literature, written and oral analysis of historical materials, and use of library and archival resources. History majors must stay continuously enrolled in this course until successful completion with a "C" or higher.
