NUR 345 Complementary and Alternative Healthcare
CAM has been identified as a group of diverse medical and health care systems, practices, and products that are not generally considered part of conventional healthcare. Conventional healthcare is medicine practiced by medical doctors, and allied health professionals. This course will explore selected holistic modes of healing that are thought of as CAM. Emphasis will be on history, research findings, theoretical basis, clinical applications, and legal implications of these healthcare modalities. Two classroom hours per week.
